James Pagett Hospital
The main public entrance to the hospital had doors that were in constant use. So an
operator was required that was both tough and reliable.
Faac's 950BM was the obvious choice. As it has been designed for continuous duty
under exactly these circumstances. The electromechanical operator is designed for
maximum versatility and can be installed on the door or lintel, in either pull- or pusharm
configuration. At the hospital, the 950BM operators have been installed with
sliding pull-arms. They are interfaced with the hospital's access management systems:
During the day the doors are triggered by PIR detectors; at night the doors are closed
and access is via an intercom.
