In 2007 DAAB became part of the FAAC Technologies. DAAB is dedicated to the development and manufacture of high class drive systems for gates, doors and barriers. Their prime focus is to produce high quality products that they can be proud of, along with an ethos of continuing development and renewal. They have continued with this philosophy since the company was founded in the 1970's.
DAAB creates versatile systems with unique technology that has an emphasis on heavier applications with a large focus on 3 phase technology and in house developed transmissions. The same drive units are used for both automating gates, doors and barriers with different bracketry making them suitable for all types of installation. Using an inverter also enables the use of single phase technology.
The results are that the products have a long service life.
